Medina Indian Mound

Thousands of years ago, Ohio was populated by the Adena Indians. They were first to farm Ohio’s land and were the first to build burial mounds. One such mound can be found at the Heuston Woods State Park.

It is at this particular mound that witnesses claim to have captured pictures of ghostly figures and unexplained mists while standing atop it.

The mound can be accessed by walking through a field located at the end of “row B” at the Heuston Woods campground.

The Indian Mound is located near the campground at Heuston Woods State Park, 6301 Park Office Road, in College Corner, Ohio.
